What’s the one thing I should do to raise capital?

So Ben suffers from the “build it and they will come” or “technology is the solution syndrome”. He is like just every tech inventor I have met.

The current climate for innovation in Australia remains the same. The ability to raise capital has changed significantly over the past 12 months. Not only has the Government abandoned innovators like Ben, the VC and private equity vehicle have effectively shut up shop.  So much opportunity stifled by so few.

A Powerpoint pitch document is irrelevant if you don’t even get a seat at the table. Focus on the benefits your technology will give your customers and things should happen for you, albeit slowly.
