With less than a week to go before the launch of Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S4 smartphone, several key rumours are circulating about the device.

According to Android Authority, there might end up being two versions of the Galaxy S4, with one using Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 600 chip while a second will be built around Samsung’s own Exynos 5 Octa chip.

A second rumour is that the new smartphone could use “floating touch” technology to detect when a user’s fingers are near the display, allowing users to navigate without ever physically touching the screen

The final rumour is that the OLED display for the new device could use green and red PHOLEDs (phosphorescent OLEDs) along with blue fluorescent OLEDs, leading to a 30% increase in the energy efficiency of the display over conventional LCD.
