Search giant Google has announced a redesign for its Google+ social network the company says will make it easier for users to navigate.
“It accelerates our efforts to create a simpler, more beautiful Google,” senior vice president Vic Gundotra said in a blog post overnight.
Some of the updates include cover photos, customisable navigation ribbons and a new Hangouts page, which shows invitations from people in your “circles”.
Google is still attempting to beat Facebook in the social networking market, pumping more resources into the Google+ network.
