Zynga executive and former MySpace chief executive Owen Van Natta has stepped down from the company, a series of regulatory filings have shown.
Van Natta originally served as Facebook’s chief financial officer, then left for MySpace in 2009 only to join Zynga in 2010.
Van Natta will still serve on the company’s board of directors, but will not have any further role in the day-to-day operations of the business.
The move also comes as Zynga prepares to list on the New York Stock Exchange. The business has already filed its S1 and may even list as early as next month.
