Tech giant Apple has released the iOS 4.3 update this morning, with iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad users now able to upgrade their firmware through iTunes.
One of the biggest features in the new update is the ability for iPhone users to create a wireless hotspot with their device, allowing other gadgets to access the phone’s Wi-Fi connection.
Other upgrades include better AirPlay support, a vaster version of the Safari browser and the ability to access iTunes Home Sharing on mobile devices โ this allows users to access iTunes content on other networked gadgets.
iPad users have also welcomed the ability for users to decide whether they want the iPad toggle switch used as a mute button, or an orientation lock.
Users need to plug in their iOS device into iTunes โ they should be greeted with a prompt asking them to upgrade their firmware. The process takes about 10-15 minutes.
