Tech giant Apple has filed a trademark application for the company’s “There’s an app for that” line used in marketing for the App Store and iOS devices.
As reported by Mashable, the trademark application was filed several months ago but cited the first commercial use of the phrase on January 26, 2009.
The trademark applies to “retail store services featuring computer software provided via the internet and other computer and electronic communication networks; retail store services featuring computer software for use on handheld mobile digital electronic devices and other consumer electronics.”
The application was made through the Advertising, Business and Retail Services, Computer and Software Services and Scientific Services categories.
