Tech trend on GmailIf you have too many emails in your inbox it can often be a chore to trawl through them, read them all and then sort them out. Thankfully in Gmail there is a better way.

If you want to make your email organising easier, you can set Gmail to display only unread emails. If you go to the drop-down box in the inbox, you can select “unread”, but this is just going to choose the checkboxes next to all the unread messages.

Rather, you need to make a search for all unread messages. First, you need to type “is:” into the search box, and then you can drop down and select “is:unread” from the options.

To go further than that, you’ll need to the add the “label:” option after those words, and then type “label:inbox” so you can just see the unread messages in your inbox
