TaskmasterYou are a smart, social media aware entrepreneur, right? You are Tweeting, you’re blogging, you’re responding to customer feedback and complaints, you go into forums, you post on the company Facebook page.

You’re like Mark Zuckerberg, Biz Stone and the Winklevoss twins combined.

But here is a question: is your social media antenna tuned to “send” or is it actually on “receive” as well.

That is, do you spend time actually listening to what key people in your industry – suppliers, customers and most importantly, the competition – are saying about themselves?

If not, start tracking every competitor you can online. Follow key executives on Twitter and Facebook. Set up Google alerts and a RSS feed to their blog. When they post, pay attention.

You could be able to get a line on this stuff – and react accordingly – just by staying alert.

Get it done – today!
