How to clean your computer

Keeping your work computer fast and clean is important when dealing with important documents and files. You don’t want to find yourself with a virus and have all of your important data deleted.

But for many start-ups, buying full licenses is too expensive and full versions of software are simply out of the question.

With that in mind, here are a few free programs you should download to keep your PC squeaky clean:

• CCleaner. This program looks through all of your files and determines which files aren’t being used and can be deleted. You’ll often find several GB can be deleted if you let it go for awhile.
• Spybot. This virus checker will scan your computer for viruses and spyware that could potentially be quite harmful. Run a scan once a day and you’ll be thankful.
• AVG Free. Buying the full version of AVG might be a little costly for you but thankfully there is a free version of use. Every computer needs a virus checker and this is a solid one.
• ZoneAlarm. Not only will you need a virus checker, but a firewall is just as important. Protect your computer from harmful sites and attacks and make sure your data is protected.
