Tech TricksIt’s becoming more popular to use two monitors while using a desktop computer because it allows you to get more done and to keep track of more than one job at the same time.

In previous versions of Windows getting multiple monitors up and running could be a bit complicated, but in Windows 7 it’s much easier.

All you need to do is right-click anywhere on the desktop and then click on “screen resolution”.

You should then be able to see the two monitors.

Under the “multiple displays” option, you’ll need to check the “extend these displays”.

That will ensure that you have one long, extended desktop, rather than mirroring one display on both monitors.
