Export feeds from Google Reader

You might have seen the news this week Google will be shutting down its popular RSS aggregation service, Google Reader.

While this isn’t a popular product, plenty of people still use it. And those who do will need to figure out how they can export their RSS feeds to a new service.

To do so, you’ll need to head to Google Takeout. Once you’re there, just hit the “archive” option, and then download it to your computer. Once you find a new service you want, you’ll be able to upload – depending on the service – the data and pick up right where you left off.
