Change your iPad sounds

Gadgets make noise. Whenever you’re playing with a smartphone or your iPad, it’ll make noises when you type, check email or receive a calendar notification.

But these sounds get annoying sometimes, and they drain battery. So you should probably turn them off.

To do so, open the Settings app, then head to the General tab on the left hand side of the screen. Then press the sounds tab.

There, you’ll be able to customise – or turn off – all the sounds you don’t like, or turn them back on at any time.
