Browsing through video on an iOS device can be pretty easy considering you don’t need to do much more than drag your finger across the screen.
But you may have noticed a difference in the way you can speed through video now compared to when iOS first started – scrubbing. This allows you to browse through video at different speeds based on where you place your finger.
To browse through video at normal speeds drag the bar across the top of the screen.
To lower the amount of time passed drag your finger downwards. You can choose half-speed, quarter and fine scrubbing, which allow you to browse at different speeds.
This allows you to more accurately find a particular moment in a video file – especially useful if you happen to lose your place.
