For the more self-conscious moviegoers among us, there is now a pair of fashionable 3D glasses on the market, which means people are no longer forced to wear ugly, mass-produced pairs.
Norwegian twins Kine and Einy Paulsen have launched the Ingri:Dahl “James” 3D glasses, designed to be fashionable as well as functional.
The Paulsen twins are quick to point out that the glasses are eco-friendly. If everyone had their own pair, the amount of plastic used to create glasses for one-time use would decrease.
Users don’t have to worry about someone else wearing the glasses before them. They are also designed to fit your style and face, doing away with the one-size-fits-all approach.
Compatible with more than 15,000 theatres worldwide, users shouldn’t have trouble finding a cinema where these designer glasses work.
They are also compatible with the latest 3DTVs from LG, Vizio, Toshiba and JVC, so they can be used at home as well as in the cinema.
This is a prime example of a technology-inspired add-on item that will resonate with consumers. Can you think of any others?
