How Ticketebo started

Founded in 2013, Ticketebo emerged as a disruptive force in event ticketing when the industry was migrating from in-person sales to online. Recognising this shift as an opportunity, its founders saw the need for a platform that not only embraced the move to online ticketing but did so with fairness, simplicity, and affordability at its core. Ticketebo was developed with a clear mission: fair pricing, exemplary customer service, and personalised seven-day expert support for organisers.

Growth

Ticketebo says its success is reflected in the numbers. It serves over 4,000 clients across Australia, including major organisations like Athletics Australia, Motorcycling Australia, and Football Australia. It has also been rated the number one ticketing provider in Australia on Trustpilot.

Where to next

Ticketebo is set to expand globally, with measured self-funded overseas growth. A move beyond ticket sales to support event organisers in all aspects, from merchandise to data analytics, is also planned. The company is also passionate about enabling greater sustainability for events, with over 500,000 trees planted by 2028 through its ‘Trees for Change’ program and a net-zero by 2030 pledge.
