How Send Payments started
The foreign exchange (FX) payments and transfers marke has a $150 billion fee and spread pool. It’s also burdened by unnecessary delays, intermediary costs, and outdated technology. The three founders of Send Payments, with 20 years of experience in the UK and Australian international payments markets, knew they could do better. Having previously built and managed Australia’s fastest-growing FX company, their aim with Send is to provide seamless, efficient, and transparent transactions without the limitations of traditional banking.
Growth
In just under five years, Send Payments has expanded its business to over 50 employees in its Gold Coast office and achieved an EBIT of $15M.
Where to next
Send is focused on innovation and sustainable growth. It plans on launching an upgraded enterprise product with enhanced features and functionality, expansion of its market reach, and a refreshed brand identity aligned with focus on the enterprise market. Send is also heavily investing in talent to support growth, ensuring it attracts and retains top professionals.
