How Inspire Realty started

When Colin Lee’s mother offered to match his savings for his first property investment, it sent him tumbling down the real estate rabbit hole only to come out the other side as an entrepreneur and founder of Inspire Realty. Taking inspiration from his friend’s success in the industry, Lee decided to pack up his tutoring business and throw himself headfirst into a new venture, starting as an assistant property manager and steadily climbing the ranks. But when he was made redundant due to COVID-19, he knew it was the perfect time to start something of his own making.

Inspire Realty blends wealth and investment management with buyer’s agent services. Lee phrases it as a service that empowers Australians with investment knowledge to secure their financial future.

Growth

The pandemic era was fraught with challenges, especially for a budding new business, but Lee worked exceptionally hard and was courageous enough to adopt a mindset of abundance and profit in the midst of a crisis. He and his small team started by servicing 15 clients during the initial six months and then quickly expanded their operations.

In just a few short years, Inspire Realty has consistently doubled its customer base and revenue year-on-year, and has completed more than 400 consultations.

Where to next

Inspire Realty’s vision is as ambitious as it is straightforward: to become the most trusted and respected property investment services company in Australia. Lee wants to help clients build a better future for themselves, and one of his big near-term goals is to directly impact more than 100 lives with his service offering.

Lee and his team are also committed to supporting the wider economy and community. They are particularly focused on helping young investors to start and grow their investment portfolios through education and guidance.
