South Australian wine exporters look elsewhere in Asia as trade tensions with China simmer

A South Australian program to help small and medium wine businesses start exporting to Japan, Malaysia, South Korea and India has been launched in the wake of continued uncertainty about shipments to China.

The South Australian Wine Industry Association (SAWIA) yesterday announced the new export-focused project, which will help wine producers diversify into the emerging Asian markets for the first time.

Theย Emerging Markets Programย will develop a series of resources on each of the four markets to help wineries know what to expect and how to prepare.
