Name: Dejan Andrevski
Business name: Gift A Ball
Age: 25

Dejan Andrevski arrived in Australia as a young boy, with no understanding of the English language, yet he still managed to top his classes and graduate from university with three degrees.
After landing a top job as a business/finance manager, Andrevski began to satisfy his entrepreneurial appetite with small ventures in sports supplements, clothing and graphic design.
His latest venture is Gift A Ball, launched two weeks ago, which puts a new spin on the gift industry by sending people balls instead of greeting cards.
Users visit the site to view a range of balls for every occasion, with each ball featuring a quirky phrase such as “Bounce back soon!”, “Sorry I dropped the ball!” and “Congrats all-round!”
The balls are sent in the mail fully inflated and with stamps attached, eliminating the need for packaging, while also enabling recipients to enjoy their gift as soon as it arrives.
“I have negotiated a working-from-home deal with the manager of my steady job, which will allow me to devote the required time to Gift A Ball,” Andrevski says.
“With time, I hope to automate this business and move on to my next venture, simplifying the purchase of university books and cutting the price by 50%.”
Andrevski is already in talks with a top Australian university, which is said to be very interested in the idea.
“I believe I have achieved all that society would ‘expect’ from a guy my age and I am now in a position to really show them who I am,” he says.
