Pubboy entrepreneur Mark Alexander-Erber has slapped “For Sale” signs on two of his NSW homes. And his estranged wife, Jade Alexander-Erber, has her Paddington pad up for sale as well.
Alexander-Erber’s Pubboy group collapsed last month owing creditors about $20 million. The Australian Financial Review reports that ANZ Bank, which it understands has a $10.5 million exposure to Pubboy, has appointed insolvency firm PPB as receivers over six of Pubboy’s hotels.
Alexander-Erber, whose fortune was valued at $20 million by BRW’s Young Rich list in September last year, told SmartCompany in February he was selling his pubs but keeping his Pubboy brand.
