David Jones has entered into long-term department store exclusive supply agreements with 50 new brands and designers across all key categories.

The new brands and newly exclusive brands that will be introduced over the next few months into the fashion department include Jets and Speedo swimwear, Hot Bondi Swim, Gorman, YSL, See by Chloe, Philosophy by Alberta Ferretti, and Woodford & Co.

In cosmetics, DJs has signed Shu Uemura, Thierry Mugler Beauty and Korner Skincare.

Additions to the menswear department include Canali, American Apparel, Scotch & Soda, Zane Robe, and Energie.

In accessories and footwear, the group has exclusively signed Witchery Sunglasses, Cole Haan, Bottega Venetta, and Hogan.

Fred Bare will be stocked in childrenswear and in homewares and food, Harrods Gourmet Foods and Barbara Barry will join the existing lineup.

DJs chief executive Mark McInnes said the 50 new brands reinforced the company’s standing as the “Home of Brands” within the Australian market and further differentiated the retailer’s offering from that of its competitors.

As a result of an extensive 12-month review, the company had decided to allow the department store exclusivity on a few brands to elapse and allocate less floor space to them, and reallocate space to exclusive new brands with strong performance track records and higher margins.
