Prepaid call operator Tel.Pacific has now launched a new international offer, which will place the company in competition with British group Lebara Mobile.
The company said it has introduced the new deal “to provide customers with quality international calls direct from their mobile phone, at a significantly lower rate than is usually offered to mobile customers by the major carriers.”
The move comes after Lebara Mobile was introduced in Australia in March 2009 after achieving strong success in Europe. It also became attractive after dropping its prices to as low as one cent per minute in some instances.
Tel.Pacific already offers about 30 different prepaid calling card services.
