If you own an iPad, and have kids, then there’s no doubt that at some point they’ll want to have a go. Thankfully there’s a way you can actually restrict the type of content they can access, and put passwords on the ability to change those restrictions.
To set up restrictions, go to the Settings App, then go to the General tab on the left-hand side. Then, on the right side, click on Restrictions.
Up the top of the page you’ll need to press “Enable Restrictions”, and then enter a passcode for those restrictions.
There, you can add restrictions for apps, including the ability to change settings for internet browsers, calendars, contracts, and much more. You can also disable in-app purchases, and restrict the types of movies and television shows they can watch and purchase.
