Here are a few more shortcuts for Windows users to memorise and learn to maximise productivity:

  • Are you using two monitors? If so, you can easily switch open programs between them by using the shortcut “Windows + Shift + (Left or Right Arrow). Doing this can move the open window into the next monitor, and will automatically change resolution.
  • Windows Button + any number on the keyboard can open programs that are pinned to the taskbar. Useful if you’re constantly opening a few programs consistently every day.
  • Likewise, pressing Windows + T will allow you to move through the open windows pinned on the taskbar.

Ctrl + Shift  + mouse click will allow you to open a program with full administrator rights – something that you will need often in Windows.
