You may have seen last week that Adobe’s share prices rose 17% after the New York Times reported a meeting between the company and Microsoft.
Adobe’s Flash is one of the most popular applications on computers but it can often cause you grief when using it day-to-day. Here are some of the checkpoints you should consider if you find Flash crashing regularly.
- Always make sure you have the latest version. Visit the Adobe site to determine if you’re up-to-date, and if you aren’t, download the most recent update.
- Make sure the install completes correctly. If you find it crashing while installing, figure out whether you actually have the right install file for your operating system and try again.
- You can always uninstall and reinstall the program. This can often fix miner problems.
- If you find that Flash is constantly crashing within a browser, make sure to try a reinstall. If it continues to crash, you should consider using a different browser. If you use Internet Explorer, consider alternate options such as Firefox, Chrome and Safari.
