Internet service provider Internode has announced it is rolling out a series of automatic download limit increases for its customers on its fixed-line broadband plans.
The upgrade will see quotas on entry-level Easy Broadband plans boosted from 50 gigabytes to 100 gigabytes; Easy Reach 75 plans boosted to 100 gigabytes; Easy Broadband 200 plans increased to 250 gigabytes; and Easy Naked 200 increased to 250 gigabytes.
The changes will rollout out automatically to customers of the South Australian ISP, which was purchased by iiNet in December 2011 for $105 million.
The company was cofounded in the early 1990s by pioneering Australian internet entrepreneur Simon Hackett.
Broadband product manager Adam Bennett said the carrier’s 60,000 customers are set to benefit from the changes.
“We know 100 gigabytes of data each month is the sweet spot for many customers, so we’ve made it easier for existing and new customers to get the quota they want across our Easy Broadband and Easy Reach plan ranges,” said Bennett.
“As well as providing that added value, we’ve been able to simplify our plan range to make it even easier for customers to choose the right plan,” he said.
