TPG has announced it plans to offer a $69.95 unlimited quota plan on the National Broadband Network.
According to CRN, while the package is $10 per month more expensive than its equivalent standalone ADSL2 package, its NBN offering will include line rental as well as unlimited local and standard calls.
The unlimited offer will be for the NBN’s base speed of 12 Mbps download and 1 Mbps upload, which is slower than the 24 Mbps ADSL2 customers living close to their telephone exchange can expect.
However, the plan will only be offered to customers on the fixed line part of the NBN, with the offer not available for fixed wireless customers.
