VoIP service Skype has updated its Android apps to include video conferencing over 3G and Wi-Fi networks.
“All this comes with a complete redesign of the Skype for Android user interface,” the company announced on its blog.
The new features include the ability to make changes to personal details, use the dial pad to make-calls, see the balance of Skype Credit and make video calls.
The software is available on Android phones running version 2.3, and with front-facing cameras: this means it’s it can be downloaded on the HTC Desire S, Sony Xperia and the Google Nexus.
