A six year dispute between a teacher and one of Perth’s prestigious private schools over an allegedly unwanted kiss after a Christmas party is finally over.
The dispute between Trinity College and one of the school’s former primary school teachers began after a male staff member allegedly kissed Roseanne Marwick on the mouth when she drove him home from the staff Christmas party.
She alleged that a campaign of victimisation by the school followed her rebuke. Her allegations would have been aired in the state Administrative Tribunal but for the confidential settlement deal done yesterday.
The Australian newspaper reports that Marwick believed her previous good standing as a relief teacher at the school began to slip after she shunned the alleged kisser.
