Freelancer chief executive Matt Barrie is one of Australia’s most outspoken and, at times, controversial business leaders. He often uses his LinkedIn account to post detailed teardowns of issues close to his heart.
Back in 2016, Barrie blasted the New South Wales government for turning Sydney into a “ghost town” as a result of its lockout laws. More recently, Barrie penned an extensive discussion on Australia’s economy, titled: “Australia’s Economy is a House of Cards”.
While many tend not to agree with Barrie’s sentiments, his posts and opinions — either written down himself or quoted in numerous articles — never fail to drum up discussion.
