If you’re using Tweetdeck to handle all your Twitter traffic then you’ll know whenever you click on a user’s name, their profile shows up.
However, this can really eat into your API calls, a metric which dictates how many tweet updates you can get within a specific time frame.
You’ll want to cut down on those.
To do so, you can make sure whenever you click on a name, their profile appears in a web page instead.
To change this, go to the settings page by clicking on the wrench icon. The first page you should see is the “general” options – there, click on the “open profiles in web pages” option.
